Strategic Human Resource Management

Purpose

Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the process of linking the human resource function with the strategic objectives of an organization in order to improve performance. It involves the alignment of human resources with the goals and mission of the organization, and the implementation of policies and practices that will help the organization achieve its objectives. This includes areas such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. The ultimate goal of SHRM is to create a workforce that is aligned with the organization’s goals and is able to contribute to its success.

Course Objectives
