Purpose

Strategic management is the process of making decisions and taking actions that will shape an organization’s future direction, and ensure its long-term success. It involves setting goals and objectives, analyzing the internal and external environment, and allocating resources to achieve those goals. The process includes the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of cross-functional decisions that enable an organization to achieve its objectives. It also involves developing a strategic plan to guide the organization’s actions and decision-making.
