Purpose
This one-week course is intended to improve the job-oriented monitoring and evaluation skills that are in great demand in development projects.
The participant will be able to create and manage Monitoring and Evaluation Systems that meet the requirements of donor agencies after completing this course.
Its goal is to give a general overview of tools and techniques for evaluating development results and monitoring progress.
Participants will leave this course with the M&E resources, tools, and skills they need to plan, organize, and/or manage programs and projects.
Target Audience
Project managers, project coordinators, senior project analysts, project heads, senior project officers, project controllers, donor coordination officers, development consultants, and officers are the target audience for this course.
Course Objectives
- By the end of the course, Participants will be able to:
- Acquire knowledge of the attributes of a successful M&E system.
- Examine the creation and administration of a successful M&E system.
- Determine which national and corporate projects and programs should be carried out.
- Recognize the significance of and make sure to employ efficient participatory techniques
- Create and install an updated or new system for tracking and evaluating development projects.
- Create evaluation inquiries that take stakeholders’ needs into account.
- Identify the main areas of success and the performance metrics.
